About:

This game was made for Global Game Jam 2023. We had to design and develop a video game in 48 hours and the topic was "Roots".

"Save The Core" is a 2.5D endless casual video game where you control an underground drilling machine that has to protect a planet's core from being destroyed by a parasitic invasive alien organism.

Controls and Gameplay:

Move the drilling machine by left-clicking on the planet's surface, destroy parasite aliens by drilling through them. Right click to shoot (recharges over time).
